Yangsi Rinpoche's
teachers include Ven. Bhakha Tulku Rinpoche, Ven. Urgyen Chemchok
Rinpoche and Khenpo Nyima Dorje from Kathok Monastery. He has
also been receiving many important initiations and teachings from
such great masters as Kathok Moktsa, Gonjo Tulku Urgyen Chemchok,
Dungsay Thinley Norbu Rinpoche, Dzongsar Jamyang Khysentse
Rinpoche, and from chadral Rinpoche, his Tsawai Lama.

According
to the tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, there are three meanings to
the idea of Shambhala. According to its outer meaning, Shambhala
was a geographic location, a seat of spiritual inspiration where
the Lord Buddha Shakyamuni taught the Kalachakra Tantra (the Tantra
of the Wheel of Time). According to its inner meaning, Shambhala
is the Dharma or Heart Charkra, located in the heart of all sentient
beings. It is the symbol for mind, completing the trinity of the
body, the speech and the mind. According to its secret meaning,
the Shambhala is Tathagatagarbha (the Buddha Nature), which is the
essence of all things. It transcends existence and non-existence,
and is the ground of both samsara and nirvana. According to the
Kalachakra Tantra, in this Dark Age, the Lala-Desum (the Three Lords
of Materialism, namely : the Lord of Form, the Lord of Speech and
the Lord of Mind) will extend their power and seduction, enslaving
the human mind with psychological and spiritual materialism. When
Shambhala is finally acknowledged, in other words, when sentient
beings start to know their own selves and when Buddha Nature shines
through, the king of Shambhala Rigden Dorje Nonpo will wage the
war against and subdue the Lala-Desum, so that the strategies of
the Three Lords of Materialism will become irrelevant and the teachings
of the Kalachakra Tantra will be realized. |
